"I have finally found something which not only makes sense
and works, but feels good!"
|

-
So what IS Dynamic Dog Training??
Simple, really. Instead of giving you one method and
expecting it to work for everyone - big dogs, small dogs, old
dogs, scared dogs, "dominant dogs" and all possible
types of owners, Dynamic Dog Training works with the underlying
principles of communicating successfully and making dog training
dynamic - the methods change dynamically as your dog responds to
you in their own very special way!
So what you get is:
-
A totally unique training programme and...
-
dynamic, unique
methods and
-
flexible techniques for every
situation and for
-
every individual dog AND their owner
- truly custom made dog training!
Dynamic Dog Training doesn't teach you a bunch of standard
methods, or a bunch of standard techniques,
but instead shows you:
The Art of Dog Training itself -
Which means:
-
To know how to respond to what you
have in front of you, be it an old dog, a rescued dog, a shy dog
or a frightened dog; to ...
-
KNOW what to do to have this dog
understand, learn and co-operate with you;
-
to be able to easily DO with
confidence what you need to do to get the results you
really want.
This is truly dog training in the real world!
as every dog is unique, and every owner is too.
As you learns to adjust the training methods easily and just
by taking note of the dog's responses, your dog begins to
respond more positively and a VIRTUOUS CIRCLE of ever deepening
understanding and confidence is created which makes teaching the
more advanced exercises later on simple, straightforward and a
joy to do!
- Every dog deserves their own, unique suitable and tailored
training methods and
techniques
AND:
- Every owner deserves to be able to be themselves and still
have their dog's understand and respond to their instructions
and guidance.

Please take a note of the dogs in the "Thank You!!"
letters below.
These are real dogs and real people at work, trying to get on
and live successfully.
-
Toby, the rescued deerhound-lurcher with his softly spoken
owner,
-
the 6 year old Jack Russell where the owner "had given
up hope",
-
Bella the Doberman teenager who was driving her owner to
distraction,
-
the little Goldie pup
- such different dogs, and they were all trained with their
custom made programme and techniques, all different, and they
all "got there" - it just needed to take note of what
each of them needed to have them understand.
"This is not a dog training book - this is how to do the
art of dog training itself."

From The Basics Upwards ...
Especially if there has already been much unsuccessful
training in the past, we have to start again from scratch, with
a blank slate and in a whole new way.
The first half of Dynamic Dog Training is devoted to just
that process - to get the you and your dog to re-connect and
remember how great it feels when you are actually understanding
each other and WORKING TOGETHER as a perfect partnership.
Once this baseline is established, the seemingly advanced
exercises in the second half of the book become easy and natural
- you're already more than half way there when the dog is
listening, watching, and waiting with excitement and
anticipation for the next thing he'll be learning!

getting straight on with trying it out with your own dog - and
starting to getting results!
Don't just take our word for it - here are some of the many

Reader's Thank You Letters:
Dear Ms Kent,
I wanted to write and thank you for
"Dynamic Dog Training" for which I am most grateful. It is most
informative as well as being reassuring and helpful.
After attending various training classes, it
is such a joy to be given permission to be gentle and loving to one's dogs and
not to feel obliged to bark out orders with the volume of a regimental Sergeant
Major. I am rather quietly spoken and have felt woefully inadequate in the past.
Thanks to your advice Toby (deerhound-lurcher) is responding at last and
learning what he could have learned years ago if only we had had your wonderful
book to guide us.
Once again, a big thank you from Toby and
Mrs SE Maitland

Dear Silvia,
a quick note to say "Thank you very, very
much!" for Dynamic Dog Training! I have used what you said about heelwork
with my Bella who is a doberman, and I couldn't believe it but it really
worked.
It has been over two years that we have been struggling with heelwork
and I was out of hope and out of patience. I am keen to try some of the harder
exercises, you make it sound so easy and I really think we can do that now, as
well. What a difference that is!
Thank you so much again
with best wishes
Deanna Raganza and Bella!

Dear Silvia,
I picked up a copy of "Dynamic Dog
Training" at the wonderful seminar you gave for our dog club, and I wanted to
tell you how delighted I am with this book.
I have dozens and dozens of books on dog
training, but you manage to describe things so clearly, I know that it will be
most helpful in explaining various points to our handlers. I love your examples
and the way you phrase things and laughed out loud many times, especially the
bit about the lead not being like a handle you use to lug a suitcase around! I
see this every week in our beginners classes and I always think of you.
It will be a pleasure to have a book we can
recommend wholeheartedly to all our beginner handlers which they will enjoy
reading and learn stacks from it.
Regards, Mary (Mrs M Shepley)

Dear Ms Kent,
I just had to write to
thank you for your excellent dog training advice. The boys
are coming along very nicely. I found "Dynamic Dog
Training" very helpful I found the techniques shown
very effective and easy to follow. Even though the boys are
five and six they soon picked it up, I'm teaching them
things I never thought possible, I had tried other methods
of training my Jack Russell and had all but given up, now
however he never fails to amaze me! I highly recommend your
training to everyone I meet and you can quote me on that!!
Thanks again for your invaluable help - from all of us!

I have been a Veterinary Nurse for over ten years, a Pet
Health Counsellor for five and behaviour counsellor for about
five years - a relative baby to the field!
I wanted to take the opportunity to comment on your books.
I have desperately tried to absorb every book I could find
on behaviour and behaviour treatment, attending every lecture
I could, even if it meant traveling for miles, in a desperate
bid to find someone who said something which really clicked
with me if that is the right word. Something which FELT RIGHT.
Dynamic Dog Training became invaluable when I purchased my
very own Goldie pup. I found great enjoyment and such relief
in realising that the world would not cave in if occasionally
I did chase my puppy when he picked up a stick in the woods!
He loved being chased, and would also perform a formal
retrieve if requested, come to me and give anything up if I
asked. I also taught him to walk to heel using the methods and
without jerking him around like a hooked fish. In the end he
barely noticed that the lead was there and would come with me
because he wanted to.
The most important thing was that after reading even just
half the book, I came away and viewed my dog as a very
different creature altogether. I have a wonderful relationship
with him and sit down with him often and tell him how
incredibly wonderful he is. I am so grateful to Dynamic Dog
Training and also The Harmony Programme.
Thank you so much for your no-nonsense, easy to read and
humeros literature and I hope you will continue to enlighten
people's lives with your knowledge. I have finally found
something which not only makes sense and works, but feels
good!
